Dionn N. Brown
Assistant Director of Curriculum & Professional Development (Math/Science)
A native of Jamaica, Dionn N. Brown immigrated to the United States to attend college. While pursuing undergraduate studies at Howard University in Washington, D.C., she engaged in urban education by serving as a mentor for local underprivileged students. This experience inspired a deep commitment to help students in under-resourced communities. Dionn has experience teaching mathematics and science at both the elementary and middle grade levels. In 2006, she joined the Baltimore City Public Schools as an educational specialist in secondary mathematics and later as an elementary science specialist. Dionn earned her M.Ed. in Secondary Education from Towson University and her B.S. in Health Sciences from Howard University.
