Celia Scheff

Growing up in Chicago and attending public schools, Celia understands firsthand the need for effective teachers in urban districts. She is excited to be part of UTC and its commitment to ensuring all students have access to quality education. Before working with Urban Teacher Center, Celia served as an AmeriCorps VISTA working to strengthen communities in the most disadvantaged neighborhoods of Montgomery County, Maryland. She earned her B.A. from the University of Maryland, College Park.
